DUVET BED MAKING

BEFORE WE PROCEED TO THE STEPS IN DUVET BED MAKING WE NEED TO KNOW FIRST WHAT IS DUVET.

DUVET /COMFORTER

         Sometimes referred to as a comforter (especially in the United States), a duvet is a type of bedding that is a soft flat bag filled with down, feathers, wool, or a synthetic alternative. It is protected with a removable cover, the duvet cover.

STEPS IN DUVET BED 

1. Clear the bed

        -Regardless of whether you're causing your bed subsequent to getting up toward the beginning of the day to or in the wake of washing your sheets, the first thing to do is to clear the bed. Make certain to take off the cover  of the pillow ,bed, sofa.

2. Put the fitted sheet

        -put fitted sheet on the bed and make it sure the fitted sheet is tucked tightly around the corners of the bed . Make it sure the fitted sheet sits smoothly on the top of the matress.

3. Put the top sheet on

       -if you put the flatted sheet it should be spread on the top of the bed it depends if it is (butterfly or wave) the flatted sheet should be alignrd on the matress. Make sure the the flatted sheet has same length over both side of the bed.

 

4. Make the hospital corner

        -The term "hospital corner" refers to a specific method of folding the end of the top sheet tightly under the mattress. It is the trickiest step in making a bed, but is also the part which will make your bed look neatest

        -you need to fold it in 45 and 90 degree corner to corner, it should be fit because it is nice when you see when the bed is clean or when the bed is neat.

5.Place the duvet or comforter or top

       - when the top of the sheet is tucked in place, you can place the duvet on the top of it. Make sure that it spread evenly over the bed over hang on both side it should be same length.The top of the duvet should be 6 inches or it fit the pillow.

6. Fold the top sheet and duvet down

        -take the edge of the comforter and fold it neatly fold it back over the top of duvet.

7. Fluff the pillows 

        -you hold the both edge of the pillow and fold it into half and isert the pillow cover and squeeze it . if you are done to the pillow place it on the bed . 

8. Add the finishing touches

       -it depends on you if you add some pillow with different color or the towel with the design.
